Smoke Detector Installation and Inspection Program
This program’s goal is to ensure that all La Vista homeowners have working smoke detectors.
Program Description
The La Vista Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department will provide and install a new smoke detector for any La Vista homeowner who needs one. If you have existing smoke detectors, we will inspect the detectors to confirm they are operating properly or replace batteries as needed. It is recommended you replace a smoke detector after 10 years of use.
