General Information
La Vista has a Mayor-Council form of government. The Mayor is elected at-large to a four-year term. Eight City Council members are elected from four wards to staggered four-year terms. the Mayor, with confirmation from the City Council, appoints a professional City Administrator to manage the day-to-day operation of the City.
Meetings:
The Mayor and City Council meet the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Harold "Andy" Anderson Council Chamber at City Hall.
