When do you issue a snow emergency?
When two or more inches of snow, ice, and/or sleet has fallen on the streets of La Vista, or when the Mayor declares a snow emergency with notice to the news media.

A snow emergency means:
It is unlawful for any automobile to be parked on any public street within the city for 24 hours or until the street has been plowed by the City snow plows.

Any vehicle that is not moved will be towed at the owner's expense.
