Biography

Rita began her career with the City of La Vista in December of 1990 as the Deputy City Clerk. She was promoted to the position of City Clerk in March of 1998. On September 6, 2006, Ramirez was appointed to the position of Assistant City Administrator. 

A life-long resident of the La Vista area, she previously worked for the Papillion-La-Vista School District for 13 years. Ramirez has a BS degree in Human Resource Management from Bellevue University.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the City Administrator with daily municipal operations and special assignments.
  • Overseeing Community Services division, which includes Community Development, Community Relations, Library and Recreation.
