La Vista Senior Activity Center
The Seniors participated in Sarpy County Senior Olympics Summer 2022 at Papillion Landing. This was a cooperative event between La Vista and Papillion Seniors Centers. Also participating was Bellevue Senior Center.
Other cooperative events this last year was the annual Valentine's Day Luncheon, St. Patrick's Day Luncheon, and the Senior Carnival (an October 2022 event.)
Senior Lunches
The Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging (ENOA) provides a meal program to be served at the Community Center to seniors Monday through Friday. Meal orders have to be placed by noon the business day prior to the day for the order (Example: for Monday's meal, you must order on Friday by noon).
The menu will follow the ENOA Meals on Wheels program. You can find the menu in the monthly current Senior Newsletter.
Meal contributions are $4.25 for seniors age 60 and older.

Senior Special Events
There are many programs and special events for our senior citizens, such as BINGO, CARD GAMES, JINGO, MOVIE & POPCORN DAY, MUSICAL EVENTS, EXERCISE PROGRAMS, CRAFTS and trips outside the Center. Please check the current Senior Newsletter for programs and events.

Senior's enjoyed their Valentines Day Luncheon on February 10, 2023 and held in conjuction with Papillion 55+ Club. The luncheon was held at Papillion Landing, and had approximately 180 seniors and staff/volunteers attended the festivities. Next up will be the St. Patrick's Day luncheon, which will be held on Friday, March 17th at the La Vista Community Center. St. Patrick's Day Luncheon 2023
150 Seniors from La Vista and Papillion Senior Centers enjoyed St. Patrick's Day. Staff from the Cities of La Vista and Papillion, La Vista Mayor Doug Kindig and Council members served Corned Beef & Cabbage dinners, and after the seniors enjoyed music from Tim Javorsky, and taking pictures to remember the day!
