Senior Olympics

The Seniors participated in Sarpy County Senior Olympics this summer at Papillion Landing. This is a cooperative event between La Vista and Papillion Seniors Centers. Also participating was Bellevue Senior Center.

Other cooperative events this year was the annual Valentine's Day Luncheon, St. Patrick's Day Luncheon, and the Senior Carnival (an October event.)



Senior Lunches

The Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging (ENOA) provides a meal program to be served at the Community Center to seniors Monday through Friday. Meal orders have to be placed by noon the business day prior to the day for the order (Example: for Monday's meal, you must order on Friday by noon). 

The menu will follow the ENOA Meals on Wheels program. You can find the menu in the monthly Senior Newsletter.

Meal contributions are $4.25 for seniors age 60 and older.

Senior Special Events

There are many programs and special events for our senior citizens, such as BINGO, CARD GAMES, JINGO, MOVIE & POPCORN DAY, MUSICAL EVENTS, EXERCISE PROGRAMS, CRAFTS and trips outside the Center. Please check the Senior Newsletter for current programs and events.
